Project summary
A new Emergency Services Station is bringing ambulance and fire and rescue services to the Molonglo Valley. The construction of the Joint ACT Ambulance Service and ACT Fire and Rescue station will provide an enhanced capability to respond to emergency incidents.
Project Scope
The scope included bulk cut and fill excavation works totalling approximately 11,031m³ of cut and 13,332m³ of fill across the site. Detailed excavation was also undertaken for pits, slab-on-ground areas including set-downs, sumps, pad and strip footings, all completed to the required design shapes, locations, and reduced levels (RL). Works also included the preparation of all site hardstands.
This modem facility will also support our highly valued first responders in their service to the ACT community.
