Project summary
The Woden Bus Depot car park was constructed concurrently with the development of the new Woden Bus Depot as part of an infrastructure upgrade to Canberra’s public transport system. The facility provides designated parking for bus drivers’ private vehicles during their shifts, supporting the ongoing operation of public transport services across the city.
Project Scope
The site was carefully prepared and excavated to achieve the required design levels, followed by the installation of underground services and drainage. A strong and stable subgrade and pavement structure were constructed to support daily traffic demands, before the asphalt surface was laid and finished. The project was completed with line marking and signage, delivering a safe, functional, and well-presented car park ready for use.
